Approaching the house as an interior space, the objects and the walls surrounding them are vital in order to attribute the designation “residence”. After this point in order to give this space the designation “home” there’s one ingredient missing.
Memory as a concept involves a sentimentalism which transforms a “residence” to a “home”. It’s like the memories live in all extensibility of this space. They are captured there and they take the part that fingerprints have for humans. Memories are that make a space personal. Or better maybe experiential.
