The event that initiated the composition of this book was my discovery of a series of photographs at a second hand shop. They portrayed strangers to me, and the photographer was unknown. Yet, they conveyed a sense of intimacy —a memory of some past times— a warmness.
This book was an experiment, and my goal was to appropriate these photos and create new memories of my own through the artistic practice. To initiate a conversation between foreign memories and my experience, to arouse an artistic interest.
